Did You Know?

Our harps are powerful enough to kill most hornets when they come into contact with the harp wires.
The wires of our harps are spaced far enough apart so that most bees only touch a single wire and are therefore not harmed.
However, a bee may lose its balance as soon as it touches a wire.
For this reason, we deliberately do not place water trays under our harps, as the bees that would otherwise fall to the ground can usually recover.

The harps are made to reduce the hornet pressure in front of the beehive.
As soon as 2 to 3 hornets hunt in front of the hives, we see a decrease in foraging bees of 50% or more. By installing our harps, your bees dare to come out again and enter the winter with normal fat reserves!
